  Erika at The Other Art Fair Los Angeles with a Drawing of Herself by Artist Gregg Chadwick Last night Erika  @_msmuse  had as her friend  @shadia_elise  described "a moment of unexpected self reflection" as she held in her hands a drawing that she had posed for in a figure drawing session in my studio building -  @studios_3026  Each Wednesday we gather as a group of artists and seekers and create observational drawings from morning to night. A number of framed drawings from these sessions are available at special TOAF prices during the fair. Heartfelt thanks to the number of new collectors who have purchased a drawing or two and to all the models that have worked so hard to help us create lasting art.   ] Gregg Chadwick Begin Again (Taylor Swift, Saint-Germain-des-Prés) 24"x36" oil on linen 2025 Congrats to "your english teacher and your gym teacher"  - they are getting married.  To mark this joyful day for Taylor and  Travis, I present a brand new artwork.  Set at a café in the Parisian district Saint-Germain-des-Prés, my oil on linen painting "Begin Again ( Taylor Swift )" was inspired by Taylor's video created for her 2012 album " Red ".  Dressed in a gauzy Tiffany Blue top,  Taylor sips an espresso and finds new love. A fitting artwork for my collection of moments pulled from life and love that will be exhibited at The Other Art Fair in Los Angeles from September 25-28, 2025.   Gregg Chadwick Monk Station 30"x30"oil on linen 2020 "Move towards the light", a friend said to me as we wandered the streets of Montreal on a crisp spring afternoon. My painting "Monk Station" is inspired by that day and depicts a saffron robed pilgrim in a 21st century urban moment. The monk is moving towards the light. Set in a subway station in Montreal, this painting looks at the place of the spirit in our fast paced lives.
