Moving Colors

12"x12" oil on Legion Oil paper 2025

My oil on Legion Oil paper painting "Moving Colors" was inspired by the uplifting Pride Month events that I have taken part in along with my trans family members and queer friends. "Moving Colors" describes the colors of the LGBTQ community (as represented by the flags) and the idea of moving forward in a societal sense, advocating for change and progress. "Moving Colors"speaks to a moment in time that is both fleeting and part of a larger, ongoing movement that continually fights for equality for all. Hope, Love, Progress.
