Holiday Memories

Almost mid-December. A bit of a chill in the air and memories of holiday seasons from the past come flooding back. The city kid in me loves the hustle and bustle of Xmas shoppers and seasonal revelers. Santa Hats en masse - yes please. Springsteen and the E Street Band's classic Jersey swagger in their version of Santa Claus is Coming to Town - on repeat. Remembered trips from the Grandparent's House in Montclair to Manhattan - Hello Port Authority! And for me - the holiday memory of all holiday memories is the vision of Grand Central Terminal (pictured above) with the Christmas Market and food hall bursting with travelers, sightseers, and locals zipping through the vast space on journeys to gatherings near and far. Romanticised Memories - hell yeah!
What are your favorite or not so favorite holiday season memories?

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!
