UCLA Health presents an evening of music to honor Mental Health Awareness Month and celebrate the strides we are all taking toward better education and access to treatment for Depression and Mental Health. Hosted by music personality and DJ, Zane Lowe, and featuring conversations with UCLA Health mental health professionals Dr. Eraka Bath and Dr. Rhonda Sena, this one-of-a-kind virtual event will provide live performances and intimate discussions around topics of mental health, life in 2021 and beyond. Performances will feature:
• John Legend - Twelve time Grammy Award winner and Academy Award Winning Singer/Songwriter.
• Black Pumas -The duo received Grammy nominations in 2020 for Best New Artist alongside the likes of Lizzo, Billie Eilish, and Lil Nas X and in 2021 for the night's biggest awards -- Album and Record of the Year. The band sold out multiple tours across North America and Europe.
• Joy Oladokun - Joy's songs "if you got a problem" and "i see america" landed her on NPR's Best Songs of 2020 list, while recently released single "Bigger Man" featuring Maren Morris continues raise her profile throughout the country. See you there!
